Job Title: Human Resource Officer


Location: Abuja (FCT)


Employment Type: Full Time


Eessential duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and interviewing potential applicants on experience, skills, and education; Organizing and managing new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs.
  • Preparing plans for future personnel to accomplish processes and goals
  • Do administrative work
  • Supervising employee health and safety procedures
  • Updating job requirements and contacting applicants' references when needed.
  • Performing criminal background checks required by the company
  • Interpret and provide information about employee benefits, programs and education
  • Advising on company profit requirements or evaluating profit contract bids
  • Maintaining employee records and paperwork; Responding to employee questions with the company and addressing employee concerns.


Educational Qualifications

  • HND / B.Sc in Business Administration, Economics or Human Resource Management
  • Experience: 3 - 5 years.
  • CIPM Essentials


Skills and knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enable multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Goal-oriented, organized team players
  • Solves creative problems that arise when presented with a challenge
  • Encourage team and staff; Able to mentor and lead
  • Able to clearly and confidently present company mission and history
  • Great "people-to-person" skills and professional attitude
  • Excellent computer skills, human resource information systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office suite, knowledge of Excel in particular, and demonstrated skills in database management and record-keeping
  • General knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
  • Great spoken communication skills posts
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee training skills.
